I was an eraser stealer in the fourth grade and I never got caught

When I was in grade 4, I had just moved to the country and my family was dirt poor. All the kids in my class had the fancy stationary, and I felt like an outcast because I couldn’t speak English very well and my parents couldn’t afford that stuff. So after class ended, I would stay back and steal the erasers that kids would put under their desks.
