Ugh. So my husband just informed me that his parents are coming to visit in December and want to bring their dog. Their huge, shedding, poorly behaved dog. I could, of course, say no, but there’s a good chance that they’ll just refuse to come in that case. They live halfway across the country and my kids miss them so much, I’d really like them to visit. Apparently this means accepting the dog. How do I cope with four days of a dog shedding on my furniture and leaving pee/poop all over my clean yard that my kids play in barefoot? They brought the dog to visit my SIL and their grass STILL has yellow, dead spots where the dog peed.
