Just because someone is your parents does not mean you have to love them.

I see people on Reddit all the time saying that there parents are total buttholes. They say things like “They are a total butt to me, but I still love them” or “My parents treated me like a slave, but I still love them”. Kids are HUMAN beings not a slave. They might have brought you on this earth and provided for you, but if you move out at 18 that was still 18 years of torture. Its even worse when parents act like this and there kid gets depression and then the parents just shrug it off and say that their kid is fine. Depression isn’t a joke.
