I'm a parent of a female child (11.5). She isn't going to school right now, she's just digital learning. Which means she's got no real input from kids her age. The idea of sex grosses her out. But how do I explain that she might feel different about sex if she masturbated? Both my husband and myself figured out about masturbation around this time in our childhoods, but she really is a loner. (An only child too) And I'm wondering what, if anything I could say to her. I don't want her to think if she has no partner she can't live a sexually fulfilling life. Sorry if this isn't the place for this but I wasn't sure who might have an answer that could help me. Thank you for any suggestions you might have. via /r/sex https://ift.tt/3kYykJA
