Has your grandma ever bought you a console?

I keep hearing several people in the games media talk about the confusion around the Xbox console names between the Xbox Series X/S and the Xbox One X/S, especially after the story about how Xbox One X had a spike in sales on the preorder date for the Series X. During these conversations, they always talk about the grandma that is going out during the holidays and buying consoles for their grand kids. Maybe it’s just me, but my grandma has never bought a console and I wouldn’t ask her to because I know she knows nothing about video games. Has anyone here ever had their grandma buy them a video game console? That’s quite the expensive gift to ask your grandma for at Christmas. Wouldn’t you ask your parents instead? It’s such a bizarre example to go to in order to try and prove a point. I work at a Best Buy, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grandparent purchase a game console. I rarely even see them in the gaming aisle. Video game gifts tend to fall on the parents, not the grandparents. The only exception is if the child’s parents aren’t in the picture and are being raised by their grandparents. via /r/kindafunny https://ift.tt/33aOuK0
