Where do you draw the line between indoctrination and informing?

This is fake news, that is fake news. Accusations fly, but it seems institutions of learning become liberal/ socialist indoctrination factories.Let’s take an educational approach to abortion:You give the historyYou provide both sides’ talking pointsYou provide both sides to the debate; depth to conversationThen provide a forum for student’s to respond.I’m wondering where conservatives feel there is a breakdown in methodology.For instance, I had a parent complain I was teaching evolution. They didn’t believe in it. I come from an evangelical background and have family who feel the same about evolution.But I’m not indoctrinating kids. We are exploring the science of deduction and the affects it has on a society with a Christian tradition culminating in the Scopes Trial.I remember a conservative guy in a sociology class in college. He’d always cause a ruckus because rats and humans are in no way analogous. But how does animal testing work?Would this be indoctrination?
