Parents are organizing a virtual learning blackout

It’s all over local social media pages that parents are organizing a blackout, in which they refuse to allow their kids to sign on for virtual classes (we’re entirely virtual right now). The goal is to pressure the district into opening back up for full in person instruction. Of course, what the fools don’t realize is the state of California has taken over the decision of the reopening process, so the district is limited in what they can give the all clear to. All that’s going to happen is their kids will get un- excused absences and fall behind. Which I’m sure they’ll get pissy about too. via /r/Teachers https://ift.tt/33RgotO
