Okay amount of TV time?

I just finished my first week of a new nanny job and I’m worried I relied too much on screen time. I worked 11 hour days with a 3 year old because she couldn’t go to day care till she got a covid-test. Next week will just be a few hours before and after. We would watch about 1.5 movies a day or about 2-3 hrs. She’s not a zombie that zones out and I stick to mostly Pixar movies since it’s a bit more complex and I explain the ideas to her or relate it to other stories/games we play. She likes to reenact the movie scenes while watching and we play and make things during the movie. Getting her to eat a meal takes 30 mins-1 hr since I have to remind her to eat every few minutes which felt a little easier when she was watching something. We do art projects and a lot of playing, but as a new nanny I’m not sure if I’m being a bad nanny letting her watch so much TV or leaving it in the background. Her dad doesn’t seem to mind and I’m attentive. Just worried that it’s too much TV for a kid and that I’m not doing my job right? Usually I work less hours and the parents give specific rules around limiting tv time. Just wondering how much other nannies rely on TV? via /r/Nanny https://ift.tt/2IFVQgS
