Ontario, Grade 5. This is my first time teaching a home room and I’ve never really had to deal with this sort of thing before. I’m hearing from kids and parents asking about certain issues, kids going home upset, etc. When I talk to the kids about it, I keep hearing inconsistent stories, which tells me someone is not telling the full truth. I want to do the right thing, but I never know what to do/ where to start. It is really hard not to take any of this personally.Anybody care to help me out with this?
