/u/spara07 on What is the realistic path under our legal framework for Republicans and conservatives to come from behind and really ram home winning the culture wars?

The other thing I don't entirely understand is why the right doesn't advocate for more policies that directly benefit families- paid maternity leave, etc. In order to have paid LEAVE, you have to be on leave from a job. Then, that way you'd have a kid growing up with parents that actually work. Unfortunately, while I like the idea of nuclear family and everything, Republicans have also adopted a seemingly counterproductive pro-corporation stance. So it almost feels right now like the right is fighting itself. The right needs to align a lot of its policies to its social agenda if that's what they want to win.from /u/spara07 on What is the realistic path under our legal framework for Republicans and conservatives to come from behind and really ram home winning the culture wars? via /r/DebateRightists https://ift.tt/3kFL9bO
