Leaving teaching and doing something in Finance?

I posted in the teacher subreddit but didn't get any response there. So I am posting it here as well. Any Math teacher here who left teaching and doing something in Finance now? Any advise?I am qualified as a Math and Science teacher. I have taught in schools before for a couple of years and right now I am just tutoring online. I enjoy tutoring much better than classroom teaching because only the motivated students log on. I hate school teaching for the following reasons: - 1 or 2 disruptive students can ruin it for the whole class even though you may have a splendid lesson plan. - Students in general are not respectful of teachers and want everything to be "easy". - Parents can be very disrespectful as well and then there are the helicopter parents. They think their kid is the only student in your class. They blame the teacher for their child being lazy. - Admin can be outright mean and racist. One of them told me I don't have "classroom presence" whatever that means.Considering all this, I intend to leave teaching. I like finance in general and reading finance magazines and watching Bloomberg is one of my favorite hobbies. I believe I should study something in finance now and change careers. Any advise? via /r/FinancialCareers https://ift.tt/3kqxoxK
