Hey guys,I'm an officer in a Mythic raiding guild that has come close to CE a couple times but hasn't quite been able to make that final push. My personal frustration over the past few tiers has been an uneven workload for the half-a-dozen officers we have and the knock-on effects from it. I've been almost exclusively the one handling:Feasts, cauldrons, and runes for forgetful playersLog review and follow-upInterviewing, managing, and communicating with recruitsWriting encounter notesOf our other officers, two pull occasional recruits from our forum and wowprogress posts, but I constantly get comments like "you're the only person to even respond out of the three people on the recruitment listing". Paired with my interaction-heavy job and the 2020 hellscape, I've been dreading even logging in.My current thought process is that by stepping down as an officer, I won't have to be on-call for the recruitment process or decision making, which I've grown to hate. That will allow me more time to contribute meaningfully to the guild through materials, ERT notes, and guild events (the last one I had to jettison because of all the other work). My concern is that the officer work just won't get done and our progress will suffer. To be clear, I love the guild in other ways. It just feels like I'm a single parent at times with 20 kids. Anyone have any tips on how to light a fire under our officer's asses, or should I just step down and take a hands-off approach? via /r/CompetitiveWoW https://ift.tt/371xMzc
