What is A Healthy Loving Relationship supposed to even look like?

I've never really had an example of what two people loving each other looks like, other than movies and books (where they are fake). My parents got divorced, and I'm not close enough to anybody's family that isn't also divorced. I'm a young adult, in a serious relationship, and sometimes I'm unhappy, but I have no idea if it's warranted or not. My parents hated each other, of /course/ they were unhappy. But I love my partner, do I have the right to be unhappy that he doesn't want kids? That he's at a different place in his life than I am in mine? Of course soulmates aren't real, so not every relationship is going to be perfect, but what if they are, and I'm the only one that hasn't found mine yet? My cousins seem so happily married on Facebook, maybe they're not actually faking it! I just really have no idea what being in love is supposed to look like. I feel like I'm doing it all wrong. Maybe I'm asking for too much, or asking for too little. How do you know when you're with the right person, and making the right choice? via /r/SeriousConversation https://ift.tt/3iRDtC2
