How would you interpret this?

So I had to have a difficult phone conversation with my NF today, and I'm needing some perspective from some people who aren't emotionally involved. I'm gonna try to tell the story without creating any bias, though of course I can only tell it from my perspective.Tuesday, MB mentions to me at some point that she's super tired and has a headache. I don't think much of it until later in the week, since as a parent of twin 3yos it's just a thing that happens.Wednesday, MB stays in her bedroom all day. The only time (I know about) that she left the bedroom was when the kids were sleeping AND I was in the bathroom. The parents are often in and out of the house for their jobs, and sometimes one of them will work on their bed for a while, but never like this. I become suspicious that she's experiencing COVID symptoms, but end up not saying anything because I'm a coward, haha. But I start feeling irritated that she could be feeling sick and they're not telling me about it.Thursday, MB stays in her bedroom the entire day again. The only time I see her is when I'm out with the kids on a walk, and the kids see her car driving up the road so she slows down and waves. While cleaning later that day I notice that DB's phone charger is plugged into the wall in the guest bedroom, and the bedspread is all rumpled- I know the difference because I go in that room every day to get the vacuum. He obviously slept in the guest bedroom Wednesday night. So clearly, they are taking precautions by this point, but still have not told me anything. One of the NKs wakes up from his nap with a 101.8 fever, so I text DB (who's working in their downstairs office at the time) to let him know, and he responds with this:"Oh no - just called [NM] and she hasn't been feeling well today either. Cold symptoms but she actually is just en route to get tested. Let me finish up and we will get you out of here"There's more to the story, but I just want to know how you all would interpret this without any further context. I'll put the rest in the comments with a spoiler marking. :D via /r/Nanny https://ift.tt/3m1Yfku
